Yes, Dr. Buzby’s Brain Boost is not only recommended by veterinarians, it was developed by veterinarians. When Dr. Julie Buzby couldn’t find an MCT oil to earn her endorsement, she organized a team of veterinarians to develop Brain Boost. Our premium supplement formulated especially for dogs is USDA-certified organic, ethically and sustainably sourced, and human grade. It’s not just fuel for your dog’s mind and body, it’s the hope of better days ahead.
Furthermore, MCTs are recommended for senior dogs in the American Animal Hospital Association’s 2023 Senior Care Guidelines.

We recently purchased your MCT oil for our 7 year old Lab due to seizures, he is on 10 pills a day phenobarbital, Keppra and zonisamide. Goal is to lessen the seizure activity, our question is we also have him on organic Valerian and Skullcap from Buck Mountain Animal health. Would you know if your MCT and Buck mountain ingredients are ok to take together , and also would you have anything to help the Liver out from the phenobarbital. Thank you, Happy we came across your sight….. God Bless
Hi Mark,
Thank you for giving Brain Boost a try! There should not be any negative interactions with MCT oil and the other supplements you mentioned. As for liver health, I LOVE Denamarin by Nutramax. Wishing your Lab all the best and praying for an improved quality of life. ♥
